Well I don't see anything phenomenal about powering up your monster and attacking for game. But I'll give the writers a few more chances and see if they can come up with well written duels

This is the same writer that write every duel since DM up to now. They're just building up the complexity of the duels since this show is aimed at total newbies.
P/s: writer, not writers. All the duels in the show are written by a singular guy.

The issue here is not the writer. It's the dueling itself. But good for him. He must be happy, knowing he can now write the simplest duels and still get paid!

It depends. The fandom seems to be split into two theories:

1) Go Rush is a sequel and the characters we're seeing are the descendants of the characters from Sevens

2) Go Rush is an alternate universe and the characters we're seeing are variants of the ones from Sevens.

I go for the first one. It makes more sense, specially considering that there's not much of a need to do a timeskip if you're in a completely different universe

Its true, he was playing extremely conservatively in this battle, that I was wondering how he hadn't beaten Yugias yet... It almost felt like a test where he both wanted to test Yugias but also not endanger Yuuhi if he could avoid it... that's interesting for a duel for sure, and makes me curious how their next duel will fair once he goes all out...

Yuuhi and Yuudias kinda resemble Yugi and Atem, except Yugi is a lot more reserved and polite and Atem isn't as dorky (tho tbh, he would probably be if he spent more time outside puzzle since he would mostly observe outside world through Yugi, the closest he got to his dorky self was during the date with Tea).

Looks like the main MIK or a bigger branch will go to the town and also we have not seen the last of Zweijo. He is not yet done with his plan yet so he will at this moment.

Hiramori is so resilient yet kinda reminds me of Nine the Phantom.

Did they run out of budget the episode before the final battle? The animation this episode was pretty clunky xD.
